As in any hotel project of this scale, the development begins with a master plan that establishes the relationship between the different parcels of land and defines the overall structure of the whole.
The project was advised in collaboration with AoMa, widening the initial vision towards a residential and hotel complex. From the beginning, one of the main premises was to integrate the architecture with nature, understanding the landscape not as a complement but as a fundamental part of the experience of the place.
From that vision come programmes and criteria that answer the standards and requirements of an international hotel brand such as Marriott, balancing the operational needs of a hotel with an architecture able to belong to its setting.
Tantum takes the project up again and proposes a strategy based once more on the module as the unit of growth. From a module of four rooms, different configurations are developed that allow villas and lodging clusters to be built while keeping a single architectural logic. Repeating the module is not about producing uniformity, but about establishing a system able to adapt to the different conditions of the terrain.
The growth strategy allows the programme to be distributed across different lots, keeping a common identity and giving flexibility to a phased development. Within the whole, a 107-room hotel is proposed, along with a land reserve with capacity for roughly 300 additional lodging rooms.
